Anything Is Possible by Elizabeth Strout

“All happy families are alike; each unhappy family is unhappy in its own way.”
― Leo Tolstoy, Anna Karenina

It's very difficult to assess how happy families are. A strained relationship, a deep wound caused by memories, poverty-stricken life endured in childhood, abusive childhood, a cheating spouse, and a mother covering up for the father's mistakes- all of these and many more situations that just goes unknown to the outside world.
