Nowhere near as fun as Six of Crows so was a little disappointed with this one. I really enjoy Nikolai as a character and while he remains awesome, the rest of the story was let down around him. Nothing happens for ages then all the intrigue picks up at the end in preparation for Rule of Wolves but we could have got there quicker without all the extra stuff.
Hopefully the series closes up well cause the opening was a bit dry
