My Kennedy Ryan cherry has been officially popped!

It is well known that Kennedy Ryan is the fuckin queen. But she's also known for making her readers experience intense emotions and shedding plenty of tears. I don't like to cry so while I follow Kennedy online, I was hesitant to read her work. A bitch just didn't want to be in her feelings.

But for some unknown reason the universe decided that we need to change that and sent Kennedy to my home state for a signing event. Which motivated to jump into her world.

So, don't hate me but for a good 20 minutes I was NOT vibing. I felt like this was moving too slow and was not original. Guy falls in love with his best friend's girlfriend. She's soo beautiful that every man in the room stops to stare. Her heart is so golden that women want to be her. She's a perfect human being overcoming a traumatic past to become a shining star.

He's a rich humanitarian who balances being a cutthroat businessman and building an orphanage in Africa. He's soo handsome that his smile makes panties melt. Cool.

Literally for a full 20 minutes I was cynical and thought to myself this is what everyone is hyping. This cookie cutter couple.

Yeah, I was soo wrong. This woman ripped my heart out and had me in tears multiple times literally 5 chapters in. By 50% I took back every negative thought I ever had. By 70% I looked up the series and realized that this couple's story doesn't wrap up at the end so I did the ONLY reasonable thing a reader could do. I got in my car looking like a homeless person and drove to my local BAM to buy the entire series. While rocking headphones and listening to this story while shopping.

This story had me in a chokehold. There is absolutely NOTHING cookie cutter about this couple or their complicated triangle... or should I say unofficial square.

 HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND
