This is a fun collection, especially if you are someone who loves to learn about mythological figures, different cultures or history. The beginning felt as if it was primarily focused on Greek mythology but throughout the book there is a variety. I especially appreciated how the author called out specific drivers for changing narratives of some of these figures rather than just pointing to misogyny as a vague explanation for why some of these stories changed and are now being reclaimed. It was nice to listen to on a long drive but with so many of the stories having common or similar themes it started to blend together a bit.
