Broken Fae
by Susanne Valenti, Caroline Peckham
I'd much rather gain satisfaction from a leather-bound beast with a thick spine and enough dirty words to get my pages turning." - Laini
Not gonna lie, the first few chapters were rough. I was irritated with the men in this series. I thought to myself this shit is not cute and I was annoyed. I thought to myself that I was disappointed and feared that this book was going to get a lower rating.
BUT then.... shit popped off. There were so many moments that made me laugh. The Bromance in this book is everything. I've never read a RH where the men struggled so much. Not just with sharing but with actually accepting friendship amongst themselves.
Leon's antics were everything. I have officially added Snaklet and Boyfriend in-law to my personal dictionary.
But wait, since the intro, I have loved Rosa and Roary. I loved the draw between them and seeing how I've never read the Zodiac Academy a part of me wondered if maybe she had a story in that series. NOPE, our girl has her own fucking series!!!!!! 10 years in the future, so she will be a grown ass woman. But I imagine no less bad ass.
But I digress. There is a lot more Gareth in this book. I was on the edge of my seat and I have sooo many theories. ONE of which was proven true at the end of this book.
I am so ready for book 5 and then to JUMP over Zodiac Academy to my girl Rosa.
