I absolutely loved this collection. It feels like every word was chosen with such precision to express the author's thoughts. The parts of gruesome histories and the author's present feelings are so beautifuly intervined, and each piece is poignant and brings to light the raw realities of colonialism, and the grief, and pain that stays with generations of people affected by it. I would like to highlight five pieces which I liked the most: Solastalgia, Lamia’s Specimen, Bloody Buttercups, Panihída, and Cartoonish.
