Well this was a nice little surprise.
I'll be honest sometimes I can't get to the smaller titles. Just between reading IMAGE, Oni, Dark Horse, Marvel, DC, and many more it's tough for me to read the smaller stuff of Marvel. Glad I did on this one. So this takes place during secret empire. Some Inhumans are kidnapped and taking to a prison. A couple of more famous inhumans start teaming up like Daisy (From the shield show) ms. Marvel, and Moon Girl. When the whole crew comes together they are on a mission to save their friends but is it too late?
Good: The art is colorful and nice. A real cartoony look but works well. The character all interact well and the storyline is quickly paced and fun. I also liked the fact each character kind of got into their "Before/after takeover of secret empire".
Bad: The storyline, while fun, kind of feels light. It doesn't really contain much to it other than a rescue mission. The characters feel like they'll split up pretty soon after. So this doesn't feel long term which from being canceled I guess that holds true.
I loved 4 kids walk into a bank by Rosenberg so I wasn't let down here though I feel he was given this as a side project. It feels limited and not really getting to play around with all the characters. Saying that it's decent fun little adventure worth checking out just for the sake of fun times. A 3 out of 5.
