"A reality comes to our dry lips, it is our Will Power that makes us or destroys us."

The author sent a copy of the book in exchange for an honest review. All views are my own and is not influenced in any way.

This book is a collection of Poems, Abstracts and Excerpts written on tissue papers over a couple of years. The first thing that i really loved about this book was the use of simple language and verses of poetry and it definitely connects with the readers. The word and sentence formations were really powerful and moving. I was in love with that fact about this book.

The second thing was how it focused on female empowerment, self-acceptance and Natural struggles. Not a lot of Male authors talk about Female's natural body struggles because they don't know what it feels like. But the excerpts he has written felt pretty accurate. And i am quite glad that it was included in the book. I personally feel that there were lot of verses that could really help people who are going to any disturbance in their life or anxiety or even depression. It gave such a powerful aura that it made me feel good about myself in every possible way. It has the potential to change your view of life if you really dive deep into the world of these words.

The only thing i felt a little off-putting was the fact that there were few phrases/lines that were repeated over the course of different poems. I felt that because i read this book in a single sitting. Other than that, this book was such a solid read for me.

Few of my favorite headings from the book are, Back in Time(Nostalgia), Why do we love the way we do, Chasing cars, Unfinished conversations, Choices.

If you are someone looking for a 'Poetry Starter Kit' and diving into the world of poetry, i would highly recommend this book! The language is simple, powerful and it's a pretty short read!
