The Werewolf of Whitechapel
by Suzannah Rowntree
The Werewolf of Whitechapel was an absolute delight to read! The setting is an alternative victorian murder mystery in which Ms Liz Sharp gets taken on as a lady's maid, must protect her employer from supernatural beings and anarchists, all while trying to solve her best friend's murder. Honestly I was a little skeptical going into this just because it seemed like there was no way an author could pull all of this together. But I'm so glad to say that I had such a fun, rolicking time reading this mystery by Suzannah Rowntree. The pacing is great, the characters are clever, the language is delightfully witty, and the setting kept me guessing and intrigued the whole way through. Definitely check this book out and I honestly cannot wait to read more about Liz's adventures. 4.5 stars!
