This book started off so strong and I thought it was headed in a really good direction but then it fell into a very common storyline (that was only shocking in the first book it was done) and I kept hoping that THAT can't be happening. Not another book with the exact same trope, but alas, that hope was thwarted. There was a twist in the last 10 pages that is different but it was a little too late.
