If the relationship hadn’t been decent, I would’ve abandoned the book. The misogyny is appalling. I yearn for the days that authors stop making someone evil based on their characters gender. What makes this worse is that they were poorly written and it is a case of internalized misogyny from the author. I will not continue to the second book. If you enjoy it then that is cool but I strongly encourage the blatant misogyny to be talked about as it is not talked about enough.
Graphic: Misogyny, Sexual content, Suicidal thoughts, Grief, Suicide attempt, Abandonment
Moderate: Sexism, Pregnancy, Sexual harassment
