This was a great book. I really enjoyed this one, even if it did feel like it was full of angst. Eli and Penny were great - they had their own quirks and getting to know each other in the way they did sure was a jump into things. I like how Eli steps up straight away and there's no hiding the pregnancy - I get frustrated when its a hidden issue in books that drags on.
I loved getting all the bits and pieces of the hockey guys and their unfolding stories, their friendships shine through on the pages and they're great secondary characters. As are Penny's two friends Blakely and Winnie (who of course is Pacey's girl).
Eli and Penny themselves have such great chemistry and connection, they just need to navigate things together. I really love how they do that, around the angsty parts haha even if I loved those too. There were some really funny and some really serious parts, and Meghan brings this all together nicely.
I thoroughly enjoyed this and am looking forward to more of this world.
