This book captured my attention from the start. I like the writing style right away, and the storyline proved to be intriguing. This was an interesting historical mystery that at times proved to be leading my thoughts down a different alley, in terms of whodunnit. It wasn't until things became abundantly clear that I realised what was going on. An interesting look into the determination and treatment, long with mysteries of women in the past.
There was also an interesting note from the author at the end, making me realise that some of the characters in this book, are real people from history (of course I am sure there are some changes though).
