Bringing Down the Duke
by Evie Dunmore
This was a fun historical romance. I did wish we had seen more of the suffragist's movement. It could have added on another star for me.
Annabelle is one of the first female students to attend Oxford University. She is the daughter of a vicar and works in the household of her cousin. She joins the movement because she strictly believes that women should have the power to do anything instead of just get married and run a household. She is tasked with trying to get Sebastian Montgomery, a commander of the Tory party, to side with them.
But of course, Montgomery, is too hard to resist and they soon become locked in a battle of passion!
