Shake Down
by Kendel Lynn
This is the first book I read in this series and won't surely be the last as I really loved this one.
It's darker than the average cozy even it shares the main tropes of the classic cozy (small town, quirky characters).
The characters are well thought and likeable, the setting is lovely and vivid, the mystery is solid and full of twists and turns.
I had no great issues with the plot or the characters but I think it can be more enjoyable if one read the previous instalment.
I look forward to reading other story in this series, recommended.
Many thanks to Henery Press and Edelweiss for this ARC, all opinions are mine.
