I enjoyed this book, simply because it felt like Susan Cain, and the others mentioned in various anecdotes, understood how I feel in social situations. (Spoiler: They exhaust me. But I'll do 'em anyway!) I wish more extroverts, especially people in management, would read this book and capitalize on Cain's ideas about meetings, participation, and work space. Its a fine balance between accommodating another person and enabling them, though. Susan Cain's book does a great job bridging the gap between extroverts and introverts.

To sum it up, Cain is asking for acceptance. Its a plea that we hear from different racial/ethnic groups, the LGBTQ community, people of varying socioeconomic status (aka the rich, middle class, and poor), and even men vs. women. Taking the time to listen to another person is perhaps the greatest gift you can give.
