Going into Baden I knew this would be an emotional story given the major event that occurs and also with Baden’s injuries and recovery. Add in Sophie’s struggles and her past and this story is one emotional journey.

I felt for both Baden and Sophie. They have both experienced a lot of trauma and both of them are still struggling with it and trying to move on. However, their shared trauma has brought them closer together. I love that Baden was there for Sophie and would slowly push her out of her comfort zone, yet not too much that it would cause her more damage. There is a strong connection between them and they do have chemistry.

This book is a SLOW SLOW SLOW BURN. I felt at times I was just as frustrated as the characters at times. However, I loved how much these characters grew throughout the course of the series and that was a major part of it. Especially, Sophie. You can’t help but love her and relate to her in some way.

I can’t wait to get to know more of the Titan’s team and see how the new team continues to rebuild and grow.

If you’re looking for an emotional, slow burn, sports romance this is one to read.
