I voluntarily received an advanced review copy of this book and chose to review it.

This book confused me. I found Penn in particular really hard to become attached to, I felt like he had no redeeming qualities, or anything to keep me interested in him. I also found the back and forth a little annoying. I know Elle is naive but the constant toing and froing did my head a little, I also found it hard to believe she could submit so easily. I'm intrigued with this story though, I want to see how it's all worked out, although I can probably guess. I get that this is supposed to be a dark, mysterious read, but I didn't get that, I just got muddled, sorry.
