i really wanted to like this book. I studied the holocaust and used Jewish immigration as a major part of my thesis. I could find no blatant historical inaccuracies, but honestly, I found it too tame. the holocaust was a wretched, brutal experience. this book barely scratched the surface of Nazi atrocities. though it claims to be an adult book, I would say it was written for preteens in its simplicity and sugarcoating.
