I love how these stories are about people who are mostly unheard of in the general history books (outside of Booker T. Washington and Rosa Park, but the author delivers more of their stories). It was a highly engaging listen; I know simultaneously feel like I know so much more about America’s history and need to do a LOT more research. Highly recommend!
