After Ever Happy
by Anna Todd
I feel like the ending was a bit rushed, and I didn't like the lack of information about Landon, but I've since learned he has his own series, so yay! I'm assuming that the next book in the series is a prequel based on it's title. I'm rather looking forward to that.
This series was explosive and emotional and I know there is a lot of bad being said about it. I would just like to point out, that the author does not shy away from the problems in the main couple's relationship. She acknowledges that it was unhealthy and borderline abusive. She has the main characters themselves admit their flaws and mistakes. The best thing to take away from this is growth. Whether Tessa and Hardin end up together or not, they both learned and grew from their time together. I think relationships, whether romantic or even just friendships have the power to do that, to change us and make us better. Not all stories are happy and easy, sometimes there are struggles bigger than most people ever have to face. That's reality.
If you enjoyed the first three books, you'll definitely want to see how everything turns out.
