Basket Baby
by Kelli Donley
This was a heart-wrenching examination of the difficult choices, consequences, and grief of women who lose babies or have babies who need extra medical attention. I don't know much about Bolivia, but this felt very real. I wished we got to see more reconciliation between the main couple, and I was a little disappointed with the too-neat ending, but this was still a powerful read.
