I wanted to enjoy this a lot more than I did. I felt like both Eli and Victor’s characters were very unrepresentative of what they were like in the actual book series and I did not understand the storyline’s fit in the Canon world of the actual book series. Unfortunately, I was also not a big fan of the art style either because once again I felt like it didn’t match up to the characters in the book series at all, and I felt like they were very very aged, and that kept taking me out of the story. I definitely think that reading the actual book series before this is crucial because it’s watered down too much in the graphic novel.
