I took forever to read this purely because I have a hard time focusing on things but this was amazing. This is one of the select few books I’ve read that has made me cry while reading the book. I honestly don’t know what to say about this beyond that it’s a new favourite and I’m immediately picking up the sequel.

If you loved Jack from the Wayward Children series by Seanan McGuire you’ll probably like this book.
