myntop 's review for:
Monsters of Men
by Patrick Ness
What an epic conclusion to the Chaos Walking trilogy. I admit, I was nervous when I got to certain points in the book and there was so much left...I was like 'what else is going to go wrong?' And trust me, plenty did!
At one point, I was in actual tears. Wracking sobs filled my chest...and unfortunately I was at work when this happened! lol (on a break, but still!) Be prepared for heartbreak and tears, have those tissues handy.
At the end however, I was very pleased with the way things worked out. I think the author finished the book in a way that was believable and in going with the story, but still as pleasant of an ending as we could have hoped for.
