I love the genre, and I’m partial to a gather the town for a rag-tag style last stand trope, but the characters felt a little shallow.
Sometimes I struggled to keep straight who was who.
If you like blood and guts and sex in wonderfully gratuitous amounts, this is a bucket of that.
But if you like a little more humanity in your splatter, so the deaths really hurt, this wasn’t that for me.
