If you like The Handmaid’s Tale or ever got swept up in the 2010’s YA dystopian craze, We Set The Dark On Fire is for you. I found the plot of this story to be slow, but it is the first title in a series and there was a lot of world building the author had to get through. It really picked up towards the end and left us on an intense cliffhanger that mandates that you read the second book. Overall, this story was pretty great and I can’t wait to continue with the series.
