Goddess of the Sea was such an interesting read and I was so curious to see where this author would be taking this one. I just love an unconventional romance but most especially when it involves merpeople. Our heroine gets in a plane accident and ends up thrown back in time in medieval England time, and she trades a chance to be a mermaid and the Goddess of the Sea helps her so she can also walk on land. She almost gets assaulted by a merman prince who has a obsessiveness for her. She flees to an island where she comes across a merman who saves her and is attentive, charming, and kind but also a fierce protector. While she spends time at a island with a monastery where not everything is as it seems, she starts to fall hard for her merman, but can she embrace the life of the sea or will they find their HEA?

I found this one to be such an interesting story. I really knew who she would end up with, and I liked how this author writing team really developed this story. I found the love between our main characters to be so endearing and delectable. There was such a magic in their story. I will say that the only disappointment was in the ending, it just ended in a way that most mermaid romances do and not in the way I like haha but I mean it worked for the story and definitely is super heart wrenching in a way but I will say that there is a HEA just in a unique way. But I fell so hard for this story and I ended up adoring this narration. I know there are some mixed reviews for this story, but I couldn't put it down and I just wanted more between them. Definitely a top read of the month for me.
