Deep Water
by Emma Bamford
I really enjoyed many aspects of this book. From the atmosphere to the thrilling narration, it really sucked me in. However I feel as though this was marketed as a thriller, when it's really more of a drama. This is ultimately a book about survival, but we end up so wrapped up in the affairs of other couples that we lose sight of it. It could be a difference in markets though, as American thrillers tend to be far more gory and fast-paced. But if you want a slow burn suspense at sea, you may want to pick this one up.
