This to me is when the series begins to excel.

When Science Dog shows up on Mark's front porch he has to deal with heading back into space to find out what a race of aliens needs with him. Once he gets there he finds a huge surprise. On top of that we now have a new family member joining Mark's family so this should be fun. Oh you think that's all? A old villain returns and it really gets brutal as Mark has to deal with this son of a bitch going after his family.

Overall, this is everything I wanted in a comic. Great dialogue, life lessons, brutal fights, people actually getting hurt or dying I care about, solid all around pacing. This is Invincible when firing on all cylinders. To me the best superhero comic ever when it is at the top of its game.
