I have so many conflicting feelings over this one.
Overall I loved the story. I loved Sophie, I loved Peter, and I loved watching them figure themselves out. It felt incredibly authentic. They felt real.
What I didn’t love was the ending. It was unsatisfying and I didn’t feel like anything was actually resolved.
There were also some plot things that felt like they were going to be important but then just weren’t and it felt weird.
Rachel Lynn Solomon is still a brilliant author and I’ll continue to pick up everything she publishes. This one just wasn’t fully what I was hoping it would be.
