The Kissing Booth by Beth Reekles
4.0

Rochelle Evans is a 16 year old who goes by Elle. However, her best friend Lee and his older, hotter brother calls Elle, Shelley. Elle is in student council and her and Lee must come up with something great for their booth for the carnival. They brainstorm and brainstorm. They finally come up with the idea for the Kissing Booth. They ask a bunch of friends if they could help with being kissers. People want Noah aka Flynn to be a kisser. Elle asks him and he says no. So, they go on with the kissing booth and the people helping them. At the kissing booth, Elle ends up needing to fill in for someone. She has never been kissed. The person that kisses her is Noah! They end up making out. This leads them to secretly dating and sneaking around so Lee and everyone else doesn’t find out.
First of all, I LOVE the movies. I think they are beyond cute and super good. So, I had to read the book. I was able to loan it out on audio from Libby. The book was so cute. I love the friendship that Lee and Elle have. Noah and Elle are super cute too. The romance is just adorable. The one thing I don’t like is how jealous and controlling Noah could be when other guys showed interest in her. I can’t wait to read Going the Distance next to see if it follows the movie well. By the way the Kissing Booth movie and book are very different on how things happen.
