I want to read more of this series and I love a good dystopian , fantasy YA series
I think my expectations from others as well as a fantastic premise let me down but it is still a solid good book for me
I took stars off because too many times I would get confused and there were times I thought it would drag . I actually feel like this is one of the rare instances where I’ll like this story more as a movie.
However, I did still enjoy it . I would give it a 3.5 for me. I really liked the chardters especially Deya and the found family aspect of it. I liked the fighting scenes and the action of the book but I just wanted it to go further. The ending was really good and set it up well for the series.
