i wanted to like this book, but i felt
like there was so much going on and nothing at all at the same time.

there were a lot of characters, a lot of POVs. 

i wish the book touched more on avery’s stalker and her mom’s mysterious death. i realize that this is not a finished series (this is the first book), but this book was almost 500 pages! 😭 it took me 4 days to complete, when i normally can finish a book or two a day. 

i will say that i am hoping to read more of maddison’s work. this is my first book by her, but i am intrigued by her writing. this book just wasn’t for me unfortunately! 😭
