TM112 Introduction to Computing and Information Technology 2 Block 1
by The Open University
This text book has a great set up. Chapters are themed into 'Essential information technologies' and 'Problem solving with Python' so the student learns about hardware and theory, and in other chapters learn the practical skills of coding in Python.
Issues with the book, is that it is filled with erratas and thus could do with a new edition being printed. Also, for exploratory activities I wish the solutions where kept at the end of the chapter along with the self-assessments answers. For the Python activities I feel that it doesn't help the student think for themselves and therefore impact their understanding.
