First I have to thank Jaycee for the recommendation! This is my new favorite novel. I loved the structure with the time flipping back and forth. I loved the connections between the characters. The characters themselves were great and seeing how the world ended was heartbreaking and terrifying. The thing I liked most was the actual writing, however. The prose was almost perfect at times with a sad yet hopeful tone. Just amazing.
