I'll Never Tell
by Catherine McKenzie
3 stars means I didn’t like or dislike the book. It was “meh”.
I was looking forward to reading this book and became the first when it arrived at the library.... but I was somewhat disappointed 😔 It took me much longer to read it then normally because I didn’t feel the need to keep picking it up and read.
I could never get to like any of the main characters. The plot didn’t have many exciting twists. The storyline seemed to drag along in some sections. I ended up just jumping over many paragraphs at a time to get things moving. The ending was somewhat sudden and anticlimactic. I had already guessed the guilty person. And the epilogue was too short. It was like the author was just tying up loose ends with quick paragraphs... which was completely different then the rest of the book.
There was enough to keep me reading though so that’s is why I gave 3 stars.
