Comfort Me With Apples is a bewildering fusion of many themes and stories some of which you will recognize and some of which will feel familiar, but won't be as defined. I feel like I can't say much without spoiling the book. From a technical side I think the novella's really well done and fascinatingly crafted, but I feel very uncomfortable with some of the themes and conclusion. I'll leave it at 3 stars.

I listened to the audiobook narrated by Karis Campbell and enjoyed the narration.
