Delirium by Lauren Oliver

I enjoyed this book. It really made you think about how easily a country could control a population and make individuals think that something so simple as love, is a disease. But of course, it makes you realize that a world without love would be horrible. The parents did not even have a love for their children after the goverment created and regulated surgery.
I liked Lena, she was not completely developed as a character, but the open development helps all different types of readers relate.
I just finished tonight and am off to read the 2nd book - but I wasn't happy with how the 1st book ended, so we will see if the 2nd makes it all work out!
