This is the first comic book I have ever read, start to finish. Normally, I greatly prefer prose only... I find it hard to stop and appreciate pictures as companions to the words.

I had watched The Walking Dead TV show and played the game prior to this, so the story, characters, and dialogue wasn't too new. However, I did still enjoy it! It developed a lot quicker than the show, which helps the story keep from stagnating.

Overall, a quick but enjoyable read! I just wish the volumes weren't $10 a pop!
