A rushed finale to IDW’s reboot. Not terrible by any means, I love the worldbuilding and politics of Cybertron, but there were so many characters in this series and so few of them developed into people I cared about by the end. There’s tons of material I hope the franchise explores again when they have the time to flesh everything out again, but it put into stark focus that whoever gains the Transformers rights next would do well to show some restraint regarding how big the cast gets.
