The Battle for Roar is easily the best book of the series, I adored it. Imaginative, visual, atmospheric, charming and just so much fun.  If this is the ending to the series, then it's a perfect one. 

As always the illustrations are stunning, and the cover design with the French flaps is gorgeous. (My dog managed to bend the front cover of my copy and I'm not happy about it!!) 

I had a brilliant time with this book and the entire Roar trilogy, and recommend them to kids and middle grade lovers everywhere.
