Pieces of Us by N.R. Walker

Book safety, content warnings, and tropes down below.

“You went before me, so I asked him if he’d ever seen a dick as big as yours.” I shot him a look. “You didn’t.” He grinned sleepily. “Did. But he didn’t answer me. Did smile though.” “Oh God.”

I really liked that there was a bit more going on in this third and final book. There was obviously tons happening in the first book, but even though it’s just been a lovely love story since then, my brain needs something more to happen after a while. Stuff going down kept me interested.

I also didn’t expect the spice to be so damn hot, after the (understandable) slow burn in the previous books. Justin loves getting a good dicking, and it was fun to read, as well as very sweet in ways, because it was another way for Dallas and Justin to reconnect.

The found family aspect was so nice as well. I love reading about supportive and loving chosen family. These boys deserve all the good friends they can get.

Because when I fell in love with you, it was forever. In health and in sickness, or however that goes.” He chuckled, just for a half a second, then sniffled into my shirt. “And you wanna know what else love is?” I went on. “It’s amazing and wonderful. It gives me strength and hope, and it makes me realise there’s more to my life than just me. Falling in love with you, Juss, was the single best thing to ever happen to me. Ever. I was feeling kinda lost until you came into my life.”
