Never Rescue a Rogue by Virginia Heath is the second book in the Merriwell Sisters series and if you haven't picked up book one yet, definitely go do that and then grab this one too.

Diana Merriwell is our FMC and Giles Sinclair is our MMC and both of them have secrets. Diana's is that she works for a newspaper exposing some pretty big information on gentlemen of the Ton. If it ever got out who writes the stories, who knows what would happen. And Giles...well his parentage is in question based on things his father shared before he died and he knows that Diana is the person who will help him figure out the truth before something happens that could impact Giles and all the people he supports.

I loved the development of these characters not only separately but together. Despite their animosity toward each other, they can't fight the attraction and as they work together, they realize there is more to their relationship than either was expecting.

If you're looking for a new historical romance with an enemies to lovers feel, definitely pick this one up!
