It took me a long time to actually sit down and read this because I really didn't want this series to end. Lou and Reid hold such a special place in my heart. I actually ended up finishing this via audiobook, and despite it not being the exact story I had in my mind, it gave me the closure on the story I wanted. I will forever sugggest you pick this series up and read it, sure, at times it's a little drawn out, and it may at times feel slow, but I promise, the ending of the series is worth it. My heart is swollen, my eyes red from tears. I feel like a piece of me is missing. Shelby, if you ever read this, thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for writing something that means so very much to me. I love Lou and Reid, I love Coco, and Ansel, and Beau, and Madame Labelle, and Celie, and everyone just so much. I'm sad it's over, but I'm so thankful for the ride.
