I think, for me at least, the only reason this book isn't 5 stars is the shortness of the book itself. But perhaps the reason I liked it so much was how long it's been since I finished A Court of Wings and Ruin. I loved getting to see more of th members of The Night Court, loved getting to see more of the Archeron sisters, loved getting to see more of Velaris, but I wanted even more. I know this was intended to just be a novella and to be book #3.5, but as I read it, I wanted it to keep going, to keep developing. So on to the next one!
