Solid little noir detective story with solid representation of folks at the margins - sibling of the MC has down syndrome, lots of Black and Brown folks, etc. In a sort of similar to our present maybe sort of in the future world, our MC has to solve the case of a girl who has gone missing in order to cancel out her gambling debts. I'd be curious to read more of the story of this MC but it's not a top top for me.
