Bellamy

This was my most anticipated book of the series, and I really enjoyed it. It could've had a little more angst, but I thought it was really on brand for how these books are written. The enemies to lovers trope was just perfect.
Bellamy is the Nephilim brother who represents the sin Lust. Phoenix is a demon who works as the right hand of Asa. He's legitimately their enemy and has tortured/almost killed some of the brothers and their mates before. They have their first moment way back at the battle in the Caribbean, and every meeting since then their fated mate bond has grown stronger. Circumstances force them together and make them confront their bond, but they both struggle with trusting one another.
One of the reasons I was so excited for this book is because of how extreme the enemies to lovers is. Not only did Bellamy have to accept Phoenix, but so do all of the brothers. There's so much bad blood they had to overcome, and it definitely wasn't easy for anyone. Mistakes were made, but the their undeniable bond brought them back together again and again. Fate might've brought them together, but they both had to chose to love each other. Phoenix has loyalty only to Bellamy, but his slowly grows fond of everyone in the family. Bellamy sticks up for Phoenix and gives him a love he didn't know was possible.
There was a good amount of action in this book. A lot of the overall plot moved forward and it'll be really interesting to see how it plays out. I've been a Raiden and Titan stan since book 2 and I'm pretty excited for their story. I'm really enjoying this series and can't believe I'm closing in on the end!
