After loving Firestar’s Quest, I was a bit disappointed by this one. The pacing is very slow and the story is rather…boring. It’s more of a slice-of-life collection of short stories rather than one overarching plot. However, I really enjoyed reading from Leafstar’s perspective. She’s a great character and I love her clever insight and strong resolve. I do wish she was a bit harder on the characters that wronged her and wasn’t so forgiving.
