The Adventures of Amina Al-Sirafi by S.A. Chakraborty
5.0

This book is perfection... both physically and audio. The found family vibes... the humour... the high stakes that just keep getting higher. The demon... if you know, you know! The main character is an older person and works really well. I love that it's a pirate book but isn't completely set at sea and the world is so rich and detailed... so perfect! I can't wait to for the next instalment... especially after the ending. It was a cliff hanger but not the annoying kind... more the insinuation kind than the hanging you off the cliff kind.
